Hanoun Medical, Inc. Enters into Preferred Provider Agreement with HealthSouth for the Provision of Post Employment and Return to Work Testing Programs
Hanoun's Technologies, Combined with HealthSouth's National Presence, Will Offer Employers and Insurers Enhanced Employment Testing Capabilities
DOWNSVIEW, Ontario & GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo., Oct 27, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Hanoun Medical, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of human performance solutions used by employers, payers and healthcare providers, today announced it has entered into a national preferred provider service and license agreement with HealthSouth Corporation (OTC Pink Sheets: HLSH).
Hanoun has licensed its state-of-the-art evaluation equipment for use at more than 100 HealthSouth locations across the country. Under the agreement, Hanoun and HealthSouth will work together to provide large payor organizations and self-insured employers with post-offer employment testing (POET) and return-to-work testing programs. These testing programs allow employers, insurance companies, physicians, physical therapy clinics, chiropractors and other medical professionals to evaluate employees' physical abilities. Hanoun's programs typically are utilized when employees are considered for new positions and/or when they are injured at the workplace. The POET and return-to-work programs offered by Hanoun and HealthSouth will assess human performance, determine functional ability and present extensive results and reports to employers, insurance companies and other related clients.
