I'm surprised to learn from you that the U.S. Fed, and the BOE, don't conduct annual audits as well, that are made public knowledge. >> The last "full audit" of US gold reserves happened under Eisenhower(sp). The worth of this audit is in question, though, due to the inclusion of coin gold bars with pure gold(99%)bullion bars. These coin gold bars came from melted,but not re-smelted gold coins (I believe 88-92% pure)confiscated from the US public during the depression.
