Tim, I guess we're just wired differently. You apply a moral perspective to everything. I can, and have on this thread, argue the inherent flaw of socialism without making a single moral judgment. I've simply argued why, over time, it's doomed to fail to meet its own objectives. Nothing moral in that. It just doesn't work.

Maybe we are just using different definition of moral. Maybe its not the best word to use. Perhaps to say that it requires a value judgement would be a better phrase. Socialism does not work, but what would it mean to say "it works"? That it produces better results? But what results are good? At some level there is a value judgement X is better then Y, and socialism produces Y. The results of socialism may be a matter of simple fact, but the signifigance of those results depends on your values.
