Firm does not believe that XMSR's subscriber growth softness pertains to the overall satellite radio industry growth given that SiRius added over 600,000 subscribers in the quarter as retail share has shifted in favor of SIRI.

He would have done himself a favor to wait until SIRI's gross numbers are available. I believe we'll see that XM and SIRI had GROSS adds of just about the same number, with SIRI's churn on its smaller sub base giving it the edge in net adds.

The point being that Xm's "subscriber growth softness" is a function of its already larger subscriber base, NOT of some "problem" plaguing XM only.
