You know I don't think it matters what size asparagus you use for grilling. Just take the smaller ones off before the bigger ones. Mine were a good mixture but non smaller than my little finger.

You really need to keep an eye on them, but you must know that as it sounds like you have grilled veggies before. This was my first try. I would love to do more kinds of veggies and would love some good marinating recipes.
