I work for a large government lab. I started buying Zip and Jaz drives for all of my folks. We must have 40 or 50 Jaz drives alone , twice that number in Zips and at least 5 times that in cartrideges. Out of this ONE problem with a Jaz drive which was replaced within a week and a set of 5 Jz disks that were part of the defective lot No problems , repeat no problems with Zip drives or disks. Sometimes , beleive it or not, authors have other motives for spreading their truth. I don't always beleive what I read.
