Somehow M$ seems to benefit dandilly from this business model, while Apple hurts from it. Hmmmmm.....

Beyond that, it would be best if instead of conducting these negotiations in secret, clone maker by clone maker, Apple established a per CPU fix fee accessible to all clone makers, plus an OS fee. just like somebody else suggeted in this forum.

If advertising troubles you, they could demand an extra 20% fee that is reimbursed per advertisement (much like intel pays part of an ad cost whenever there's an intel inside logo).
