Just beginning research on this company. Some questions to the thread:

Do you consider the subscriber base to hold the greatest long-term value for AOL? Or their content creation business?

Can AOL withstand the competitive onslaught of $40 unlimited usage via cable modems vs. their $20 for dial-up (that ties up a phone line)? What advantage(s) do they have over the package to be offered by the likes of @Home, MediaOne Express, RoadRunner? Do they retain a revenue opportunity with subscribers who defect to the HFC-based services?

Honest questions. Am I asking the right ones?
