Remember that MSFT is not an originator as much as an excellent marketing organization. As in other cases in MSFT's history, it doesn't matter who gets there first, but rather who takes the ideas and runs the furthest and fastest w/ them. While I haven't read the press release yet, what I have heard doesn't neccessarily sound as a hastily thrown together concept on INTC and MSFT's parts. I suppose it'll come out in the wash over the next few months. It should be interesting, don't you think?
