Re: Lost excel file. I emailed myself an excel file from work, and opened it directly from the email attachment (that is, without saving it first to desktop or such). I did a lot of work on it and left it on my machine overnight. The power went out suddenly causing a reboot. Is there some temp file on my machine where I can retrieve the updated file that I created while working on it. I do not remember saving the current work. Can someone help, please? Stan
