Harry, Good additional points. Actually, I had thought about the possibility that the retailers are overstocked on the low end. Actually, this happened last year ala PB and the P75 inventory problem. These analysts can be quite amazing. At the beginning of the year almost all of them were predicting a sever slowdown in PC sales in 1996. As it turns out, 1996 will be an excellent (albeit slightly less than 1995) year for PC sales as I argued back in February. The analysts continue to misinterpret shifts in market share from traditional players to direct vendors as an overall weakness in the PC market. At this point Jules Garfunkel is about the only analyst who's judgement I trust. FF
