Seagate working with MSFT, CPQ and HWP on a new development in storage technology. Check Feb 20 news from Reuters. "Two disk drives will be able to communicate and exchange data between each other beneath the operating system and hence not bog down the network". "... one of the key elements of Compaq's acquisition of Digital Equipment Corp was having access to DEC's storage technology". The article can be found under CPQ, SEG, MSFT or HWP. Wish Wall Street Journal or IBD would expand on this. Sounds potentially big. Anyone know more about this?
