William: The University of Sta. Clara has a short course on magnetic recording scheduled for December. Among the items to be covered is "...keepered recording and other new technologies." The listed lecturer is a gentleman named Tom Coughlin, who I think is from Velocidata. Check with the USC web site to get more information. Regards, Gus
