James: I cut and ran when it appeared Wooddy had bailed out. I had misconceived his true position and function, and overrated his personal importance. Was also somewhat put off by the reference to "resuming" discussions. I had extensive discussion with Bouhafa et al and realized that I did not at all understand the facts about Woody, and indeed had a lot of mistaken ideas about the whole setup. Saw that the Wooddy thing was, as qdog says, a nonevent, and that the "pause" in negotiations was not at all what I thought it was. When the smart money never flinched yesterday, I knew I had been a total fool. Thank the Lord, I got back in cheap, and only lost commissions going and coming (4 3/8 out, 4 3/8 back in). In summary, it was an embarrassing public demonstration of the fact that if I was half as smart as I think I am, I would be rich. Geneat
