The bull market hides abuses of management. So long as everyone is making money, they don't care that management is basically out to secure 6 and 7 figure salaries and golden parachutes as well as other perks and options. If the market turns for a period of time and we see more SHVA's, then perhaps institutions and government will step in and do something for small individual shareholders. These nice deals that net huge salaries and benefits basically securing parts of a company's capital for management are never reversed. Wonder if Michael Eisner is returning any of the 100's of millions he received when Disney stock was up now that Disney stock is going in the other direction?
