If you invest in AMD and watch AMD miss product introductions while Intel, which you didn't invest in, is introducing new, improved, faster, more powerful CPUs to a customer base that craves for more performance, then 3-4 months is too short.

However, if you invest in Intel, then 3-4 months between new product introductions can seem like an eternity.
