We may need give Jim a break for different view.
I love SUN and wish SUNW all the best. Because I am not holding SUNW,
I am looking for good reason and timing for buying.

It seems to me that SUN will lost some revenues from Wintel's pressure from low end. It is not because Wintel has better product. It is Wintel's marketing and market share.

I feel that SUN have better chance at High-End. Few months ago, I attended a meeting when a fortune 500 company try to choose a hardware platform for its enterprise business system. There were three biders,
IBM, DEC and SUN. The SUN people were better prepared and provided better solution. At that meeting, SUN beats the rest hands down. I hope SUN is the winner at end.

I feel that SUN should go this direction by buying some nich players like Sequent or even Tandem. By doing this, SUN will increase market share and decrease the venders who support Wintel.

Any comments?
