Hi David R. Stockwell; I guess I don't see numismatics as any kind of technique for me to retire early, or what have you, I just see it as a fun hobby. But what really burned me about the new mint changes was the fact that now I will have to break up a silver mint set in order to get the quarters for my quarter collection. I'd prefer to be able to just buy a set of silver quarter only proofs. But I know that the guys who follow mintage sizes were going to be upset as well.

Speaking of the quarters, I gave a collection book (one of the nice ones with sliding plastic cover slips) to a friend to give to his 9 year old. Report I got back was that he appeared to like it, as he went to sleep holding it. Got to start them collecting coins while they're still impressionable...
