MG, RE: "Options Broker" & "Index Options" I am using ETrade for stocks and options. I have a Datek account but have not used it. Index Options These are something on my to be investigated list for December. I have not been following options movements in relation to the index, so I don't have a much of a sense of how they move. I've been loosely following the ongoing index discussions on this thread, but for the past 5-6months work has kept me too busy to dig in and really look at the dynamics. Any thoughts or advise is welcome? My experiment for december is with writing PIXR puts, betting on the bullish side. :) Today I wrote 4 PIXR dec 60 puts @11 1/2. I am considering buying some insurance with PIXR dec 40 puts (~ 1.75ish). My WAG is that PIXR will close 12/18 in the 55-60 range. I won't mind owning some more as my shares were called out. My goal is a profitable education. All comments welcome. Christopher
