Manchin's a lost cause - as we've seen, he's already sold his soul to the Kochs. Some democracy we've got! It's a joke....the repubs are fascists, the dems are spineless pussies. We've got a system where someone who has the majority of votes can lose an election and a party with control of the house, senate and WH can get nothing done because of a filibuster rule - that can be overridden today by the dems in the senate if they had anything resembling a spine or a set of plums.

All the while, we've got a party whose being run by a sociopathic bloated orange con-man that are openly passing bills to subvert the ability to vote and impeding an inquiry into an insurrection their followers attempted. And we've got the nerve to consider ourselves the beacon of democratic principles. If this isn't a recipe for complete impending doom then I don't know what is........
