Operating money losing CSi separately (required especially because
of huge differences in basic platforms -- Stratus and homegrown software vs. WIN NT-MS Internet Server) puts a lid on economies of scale. So, how would CSi subs respond to influx of advertising?

Until yesterday, ANS was teriffic because of promise to improve
gross margins, add to the balance sheet and be spun off for $1.5b
in a year. Today, trading it for CSi subs is the smartest thing
AOL ever did.

That's real squishy. Anything specific, or are you just
speculating in broad generality?
