No, It's different, depends on whether the child decides to do it to help the parents, rather than the parents urging the child to do it for the money.

I don't think that a parent would trade their son for money alone. There are larger issues. The same issues that spur young people to go and fight in Iraq for the US. It's about honor, and country, and in the case of the muslims martyrdom.
