David....From the File menu in File Manager, select "Associate". In the dialog box that pops up, enter "avi" (no quotes) in the box that follows "Files With Extension". Then under "Associate With", select "Media Clip [mplayer.exe]". Then click on "OK" and that should do the trick. If file mplayer.exe isn't sitting in your Windows directory, you'll have to reload it before following these procedures. Hope this helps.
