The purpose was to bring AMD's performance to a level where the K6-2 was a legitimate alternative for the gamer. Guess you're too narrow minded to see this. KNI will only improve things incrementally. Maybe 10-15% on some very KNI-intensive apps--if they ever get written. Big deal. Kevin
