Has it ever occurred to you that since the Nomai disks are not compatible with the notebook Zip, Iomega could easily alter the other Zip drives to make the Nomai disks incompatible? Because of this, I just don't see how Nomai will have much impact. Even now, the fact that the Nomai disks are not compatible with all Zip drives would be a significant deterrent to consumers, in addition to warnings from Iomega about voiding the warranty of the Zip drive.

This ruling currently should not be viewed as particularly significant, but I expect the market will overreact.
