Tuck

big problem with aquavan is the propofol competition
the original product now has generic versions which are very cheap (so hospital administrations like them very much)

they now even sell the stuff in premade syringes which on screws on a pump and hop our anesthesist can go phoning :-)

concerning the burning sensation in the first minutes
- it takes only a very short while then one is asleep
- one can prime with a dose off xylocaine iv
- i had a propofol anesthesia and didnt remember the pain

so i think aquavan isnt going to have a big pricing power

cheers

Stefaan
