a piece of smoke and speculation; i am not familiar with the author so maybe his credibility warrants more respect. In plain terms, the deal gives RIGL $100mm cash and a lot of money on the back end, while AZ pays the freight to get there. nice in my book. are there other deals out there that are better? sure. Worse? sure. I too can speculate on the royalty rate, and maybe the market "knows", but this commentary adds no real insight imho. how was RIGL pumping the stock for a following? tough claim to make without any evidence.
