What i meant by that was the lamb is as much a metaphor for life as we were...that man see's himself as being different....but shares in the same overwhelming all pervading reality with all it's myriad phenomena...shares many of the same experiences... for that moment of observing the lamb , I and she were one, under the sun. Why make more of it than it is ? cause I would make more of it than it is . it touches me ....and i am lonely and lost and afraid and like to bond with things admidst the real, ordered , impartial universe..and need to anthromorphise many things. so there. but also the Poet's perogative....and we poets are all gods and geniuses ...and even many scientists see a "superior reasoning force" behind the viel of phenomena . But not to worry X , it's just a way of keeping the blood going.
