Links to the documents - I used to work in printing for many years, 1975 - 1983. I concur that these documents were NOT created using a normal typewriter in 1973. Maybe a proportional spacing typewriter but I think not, though, even the best typewriters output was more uneven. My Selectric is top of the line and can't output type that pretty.

I never used a Wang-type free standing word processor, don't know when they were first used or what the output looked like, maybe that's the explanation, but for sure these documents were not produced by a 1973 typewriter.

Typeface looks like what I use, Times New Roman.

Typefaces are all created by someone, and can be matched by sharp eyes. A good typesetter or graphic artist can match this. I could myself, maybe should try.
