E-mail response from John & Rebekah Regarding the "Eligibility" deadline of 11/4/99, we were in the first group www.otcbb.com, alphabetical - American International Industries, Inc. (EDII). We have responded to all the SEC questions and comments timely. We have filed and re-filed reports. Our Form 10-SB Amendment No.2 was filed 11/1/99 with the SEC via EDGAR www.freeedgar.com. The SEC changed their position on the treatment of acquisitions and required the re-statement of certain assets and mandated significant adjustments to the financials (specifically, real estate acquired from related parties to the original cost in hands of the transferor). Prior treatment of acquisitions were consistent with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals. EDII's Accountants and Attorneys are working diligently amending 10-K and Q's (1st and 2nd quarter 1999), 3rd quarter will follow.
