Katherine,
For a family of four it is more economical to buy 8 shares of amat than to spend the same amount on a nite out at the ballgame. That's about the price in the NY area. I spent 3 shares for dinner out last nite in New Jersey. Maybe i will make some expense cuts and use the proceeds to accumulate odd lots.
By the way Clemens won his 10th and leads the AL in wins. mike
