Depend on your definition of "operation"

I'm not sure it really matters. From a marketing perspective, operations should easily be portrayed as more important than mere clock speed. Kind of like a horsepower versus rpm comparison.

Heck, if they throw $75 million towards the task over the next two Qs, any resulting asp rise over $5 ($4 with continued share increases) makes it very profitable.

When every dollar change in asps means 2¢ per share in earnings, any measure that could have a material impact on asps must be seriously considered.

Done right, the overall asp impact may dwarf the expenditures.

But, are they up to the task?
