A question for you Jerome, how many people on Forbes Billionaire list got there by trading?

1)Warren Buffett for one......but the number of trades he does would make most brokerage firms cry.

2)INTC and AMAT have been brilliant 30 year investments. But I have my doubts that any poster on this thread is going to make a 76 year investment in AMAT and live to talk about it.

3)I keep some shares of AMAT, NVLS, & LRCX as long term buy and hold. But the vast majority of my capital gains has come from short term trades, option writes, leaps, and puts.

4)Time runs out for all of us, and the objective is accomplish whatever it is that you intend to do prior to that time.

Regards, Jerome
