My timeframe is about a year: I think another 12 months will be enought to put AOL under. Anyone with even a basic understanding of finanical statements and the online service industry knows that AOL isn't going to be making any money any time soon, so I give it another year or so before this become readily apparent to the typical AOL investor.

What I can't believe is analysts still don't get it--it's the web that's the killer app (the web and e-mail--see the recent issue of BusinessWeek). These latest deals (MSFT and AOL, Barnes & Noble, etc.) only reinforce this viewpoint.
