marvin, Please post this for me at AOL........ Dear AOL threadsters, Bill Gates was quoted a few weeks at a Microsoft Convention that the most exciting area of IT going forward will be Biometrics. Who is Bill Gates?......Got me, some hypster, no doubt. I'll bet ten years ago he was hyping his own company....What a putz..... Our little group on SI spends alot of time doing DD on IDX. We own the stock....We have owned it since it was around $ 2.00 ....and see no reason to ever sell. We don't care if you buy, sell, or stick the certificates in your ear. We enjoy knowing a great deal about the stocks that we own. IDX happens to be our favorite. We think it will be major company in an industry that is on the verge of exploding. We talk with people who sell IDX products and people who buy IDX products....on an ongoing basis. We also watch those who compete with IDX. I would venture to say that there are about seven of us on AOL and SI that know IDX better than any analyst...... You trash three or four IDX longs who post here, whenever the IDX drops a half point. It is too bad.....They know ten times as much as you do about what is really going on......and there is a great deal that you can learn from them. Can IDX be a $200 stock in five years?.....Yes. Project the numbers. (the statement I made was 200 in five years) And we are all going to Cabo San Lucas if IDX hits 30 this year....so we can all hype the stock to each other around the pool.....And If IDX earns 35 cents in the fouth quarter of this year......I'll be back to chat with you all about it. Idiots will be selling at $20 this winter. Hold the stock for 5 years....That's what we say. Does IDX produce the Ten-Printer for NEC?....Yes they do. Did NEC make the call as to which Ten-Printer was going to be used in Indiana?.......No....Indiana made the call......Ask them why they seemed to have picked DBII. You will find out that they could have picked FINX if they had been so inclined. Why didn't NEC refuse to sell the afis to Indiana if DBII was going to be the input devise chioce?.......Figure it out...The customer is always right. The NEC/Loockeed team will be a major force in the future of Biometrics. If IDX can supply 90% of their input devices......we will all be very satisfied.......I don't think getting something in blood is what is needed. Providing quality products and great service is the ticket. I see Fowler building Identix into a full-service biometric company.....the only one that exists. It is a very unique market condition. Alot of you quarter to quarter guys over here should take all of your money out of this dog Identix and put it into a really HOT biometric stock....like Sac Tecnologies....or AFIS.Don't look at the fudamentals..don't look for vision......Just look at the stock price zooming at every forward-looking statement. Jump on NRID. A PE of N/A is better than a PE of 147, isn't it? Or how about Bio-Mouse......or Sony. Killer stuff!.....stuff that is going to eat our lunch! And when you go into Specialty Steak House....order pasta. Enjoy the coming week. bg
