Re; Water filtration and storage.

Yes, Kararyn is the #1 or 2 best. Also, the British years ago developed an effective one,but don't recall the brand-name.

I believe in having some amount of water storage capacity, but I believe more strongly in possessing the means to filter water whereever I'm at. Besides, it give me more room to stash necessities like cigarettes and the liquor stock... <VBG>.

Both are essential. How much water do you plan to store? How many gallons per day storage are you planning? Where do you plan to get water to filter when the water supply is disrupted?

The answers to the above may well determine how long you and everyone else that has to answer those, will live!

Re; cigarettes. I am also planning to stock up on them. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be a source for good discounted bulk prices. Do you know of any? I plan to buy at least one years worth.

Also, cigs will be one of the best barter items to have when banking collapses/money becomes worthless. How long of a supply do you plan to buy?

Ken "its too............"
