Nope, if there's more mining (or mountaintop removal, the price goes down to the point it's not profitable to mine. Demand peaked years ago, and it's not coming back.. From the end of the piece: What it’s really about is culture war. Trying to bring back coal is all about owning the libs. And if it damages the environment, well, from MAGA’s point of view that’s a plus.
