Don't we remember that we are in a sort of PC resession, and hence there must be excess of capacity? We remember, but the last time I looked no one was predicting a 50% reduction in the PC market any time soon! And this works in AMD's favor too- they are not forced to shell out money for a new fab any time soon to keep up their market share. Their spanking new Dresden fab will suffice for the next so many years. TG
