IMO, one of Apple's biggest problem now is...recognition. Speed, future speed, ease of configuration, loading software, adding periphials, edge over win95, price, even clones. Get the word out,Apple!
Where the heck is marketing? Christmas is coming, where are all the eye catching ads in newspapers, tv, etc?
We're flooded with Compaq, AST (I think it's ast...the ones where they show that dreary city), Microsoft, even flying pentium chips (Hey, Motorola never advertises, but then what would they say? The power of the Power Pc chip? blah) and newspaper and magazine articles describing the best PC gift (only one token Mac in the group..."it's easiest to use!")
What do we get from Apple? Infomericials at 2:00 A.M. so that insomniac teachers and teacher wanna-bes can catch some zzz's?
Apple just needs some hard hitting ads run at prime time. |
