Mohan, I bought my Mother a cup of Starbucks coffee when I took her in for labs on thursday. I had to pour half out and add hot water and she still said it was stronger than horse ...-G- I have always thought that they drink industrial strength coffee in Seattle, but, having lived in Europe for 6 years and taking in lots of espresso, it doesn't bother me. The stock is dead meat. You hit it on the head. Once a trend catches on, everyone else copies it and nobody makes much in the way of profit. In fact, a couple of years ago I shorted SBUX. I had to hold my breath until I turned blue a couple of times just to keep the borrowed shares, but it worked out very nice. Where I live, I am a 5 minute walk from a Starbucks, a Plantation House, and a Java Coast shop. Another Starbucks is only half a mile away. I like all of their coffee, though I prefer Plantation House, but I buy where I happen to be at the time. And, in the Summer in Houston, I am surprised they can stay in business at all. -G- MB
