When the DEA moves into a foreign country, small arms and ammunition exports go up, which is very positive for job creation. In addition to increased small arms exports, the increase in drug trafficking that accompanies DEA interventions also eventually destabilizes the target country, opening the door for favourable foreign policy towards the USA.
