To All: 10Q is out and available on EDGAR. Its more of the same overly cautious statements related to KM. Did anyone really expect anything else? I sure didn't. There is though some very positive news you all might be very interested in. Ampex will present at the 1996 Head / Media Technology Review at Las Vegas on Sunday nov. 17, the day before COMDEX opens. The title of their presentation is "Magnetic Recording Media is a Keeper", and will be presented by T. Coughlin, who is one of the co-authors of the cover article on KM in the October issue of Data Storage Magazine. This is very interesting since the Review is one of the Pre-COMDEX conferences indicating to me that Ampex will be represented at COMDEX. With all the surprises that usually occur at COMDEX, I strongly believe that Ampex and a major disk drive manufacturer will introduce a Keepered Disk Drive at COMDEX.
