These robots in use today are amazing. I went in the hospital a while back with stomach pain. It turned out to be my gall bladder, which they removed with a robot. There were 4 tiny incisions about 1/4 inch each. Post op was a breeze. Virtually no pain. Gall bladder incisions used to be about 4 inches long with painful post op recovery time. And there was a lasting scar left behind. I can barely tell where they made the incisions now, they are almost gone.
