OT: Technical question to anyone who might have some insight.
I just purchased a JAZ for my laptop, essentially so that my wife could run Office 97, which she has at her office, while I continue to run Office 95 (which is loaded on the laptop). No matter how I try to set up the install program, the Office 97 install CD writes to the C: drive as well as to the JAZ, and it seems as though I'm getting the worst of both worlds, i.e., that in order to run any office program, it's having to run with both the C: and JAZ drives, making it cumbersome and slow and just generally unworkable. Additionally, installing Office 97 seems to hijack Office 95 no matter what I do.
Can I just load Windows 95 and Office 97 on the JAZ drive, if so, how, and is that the best way to do it? I'd appreciate any suggestions to my e-mail address: wcomplaw@bellsouth.net
Thanks for any pointers.
