Don't misunderstand my position, I have zero tolerance for any of the liberal and/or hate America first crowd, I would just as soon remove them from the planet as anyone, and I'm prepared to do that at first notice if called upon again, I'm a military veteran and I love my country dearly...
I wouldn't invite any of them into my home nor do I have any friends or acquaintances who hold those lunatic nut case left wing opinions or positions...
And I also fully agree, these so called moderate moslums are meaningless just as in the very excellent example of how non nazi Germans were also meaningless at that time...
This is an open forum where one can post his/her views however bizarre they may be, as long as they don't violate the SI TOU or violate this thread's rules... banning someone on this kind of forum just because I personally disagree with them would turn this thread into a private notepad reserved only for those who share the exact same views, a self love club of nothing more than personal notes among birds of the same feather, and this is not my intent here... if I wanted boredom, then I could stare at the wall and watch the wet paint dry...

This was said earlier by Machiavelli in The Prince which is the definitive primer for how to be a dictator. And it was said even earlier by Sun-tzu, the Chinese general & military strategist who said, "Know your enemy and know yourself and you will always be victorious."
Very simply, it means that you should always know what your enemies are doing. As a war tactic and as a means of intelligence gathering, you always want to know what the enemy is thinking, saying, and doing so you don't get ambushed.
