Just reached my friend via cell phone in Stuart, Fla. She still has no electricity and can't flush her toilets. She can only pour water down the toilets. ( thank God). She is ready to give her notice at work and get the hell out of Florida. She may go up to upstate NY and stay with her daughter for a while until things settle down.

There is almost no gas where she lives. TO get gas for your car you have to sit for a minimum of 2 hours in lines.

Her nerves are frayed!!!! She said they are living like animals!
