As I mentioned a couple of days ago and the media is now picking up on, usatoday.com AOL is putting everyone into the $19.95 unltd plan, unless they make the effort to opt out. McPaper implies that AOL is making that harder than necessary.

This comes despite the fact that AOL has admitted that 90+% of AOLers use their offline service for less than 5 hours a month. Oh, but you say those figures were served only up when AOL was arguing against an unlimited option.

So why is AOL dumping its members into an option they had adamantly argued they did not need? It's all about that huge AOL negative cash flow, the impending cash crunch and pumping revenue projections. All of course aimed to deliver the booboisie with (risible) projections of future "profits".

But still the laughter. AOL has shown, its "profits" look like other companies' losses.
