Do not look into laser with remaining good eye... From the days of the first ruby laser, "Death Ray" hype abounded. Microvision will have to overcome the public fear of lasers to be wildly successful. Fortunately, there is a already a generation of technology consumers who think of lasers not as Death Rays, but rather as CD players, laser pointers, and grocery scanners. My guess is that as soon as a product is ready for public consumption, there will be enough kids begging their parents for the latest total-immersion video game that the laser-phobia will be quickly overcome. The suitcase-sized version would already be a hit in video game arcades. Perhaps that would be the road to riches? -zm ps - also hoping to visit Seattle soon.... pps - GO MVIS!
