Re: His ideas survived for a while because they were politically endorsed by the Communist Party, rather than their scientific merit. Is that the moral of your story - that INTC endorses viewpoints on scientific processes such as SOI based on their political motives as opposed to fact or logic (while AMD doesn't)?

We know it describes what Intel did with Rambus.

It looks like they're about to do the same thing with SOI.
