Most of the equity is in the cash. So the equity or value will drop by $5.00/sh once the $5 dividend is paid out. The stock will drop also by $5.00 or more at some point to reflect the lower equity value. (That will be a positive offset for the shorts who have to come up with the dividend.) This is just my opinion; I've been wrong many, many times.
